Repeater Information

442.725: is located above Stockton, CA at 3500 feet and is directionalized easterly (away from the Bay Area). Mobile hams can work the repeater into the Elk Grove city limits and base stations reach in from Sacramento. Because of the D.O.D. restrictions in place, the repeater transmits at approximately 5 watts, so it "hears" better than it "talks," especially to the south and west. Most of the time, if you can hear it, you can definitely work it!

440.600: is located above Fresno in the San Benito Mountains. At roughly 4900 feet, this repeater has solid coverage along I-5 and Hwy 99 from Stockton south to Bakersfield. This repeater also covers King City, Monterey and the south Bay area. Since this repeater is fairly new, please let us know where you can work it! At this time, the repeater hears better than it talks, so if you can hear it, you can definitely work it.

146.925: is located on Wolf Mountain, near Grass Valley at approximately 3000 feet. This repeater can be operated from Sacramento through Yuba City / Marysville, and even to Chico. It is currently linked full-time to the A.R.R.G. network. Please note that at this time the receiver is somewhat weak, so you may need a little extra power to get into the repeater even if your recieve signal is strong. We will make repairs as soon as possible!

442.950 Rocklin / Roseville: is a low-level repeater located on the northwest side of Rocklin near Stanford Ranch and West Oaks. It covers Rocklin and Roseville quite nicely and has comfortably been worked mobile from Sacramento and Granite Bay. Easterly coverage is a little weak due to terrain shadowing.

442.950 Red Bluff: is located on Inskip Hill northeast of Red Bluff at about 3000 feet. It provides excellent coverage for Redding, and up I-5 to certain areas near Mt Shasta. Southern coverage extends to Corning.

The KI6FEO repeaters are part of a growing linked repeater system, known as A.R.R.G. (Amateur Radio Repeater Group). These repeaters are tied together with a 420 and 220 MHz radio links, establishing solid, contigous repeater coverage from Grapevine to north of Sacramento!

Under normal circumstances, you can get on any KI6FEO repeater and be instantly connected to many other repeaters linked together through-out California. A full list of these repeaters is available on the repeaters listing page. Check the "link status" below for updated information on the health of the linked network.
